If you are going to pick between those two I would go Xeno as it will be way shorter and lighter than Keymo. Had Keymo on my Wolfman and dumped it for an Ecco Machine cherry bomb adapter. Rearden makes an Atlas adapter that fits the Wolfman but I prefer the spanner slots of the Ecco machine adapter.

Any opinion between the two? Looking to go with one system for a Resonator K and Nomad. These suppressors will be used on several SBR’s (300BLK and 5.56). I've emailed YHM but: Will the Kurz adapter work on the Resonator K and DA Nomad? Will the full size brake that comes with the Resonator K work with the Kurz adapter on the Resonator K …

The KeyMo mount is .25" longer than the Saker mount but if you use a Key Mount muzzle brake the overall length is the same due to the length of the locking lugs on the muzzle brake. 6ish months ago (before my first cans cleared) I narrowed it down to 3 systems: keymo, xeno, and Kurz. I passed on the keymo when I saw the price, weight, and the few threads that popped up every 4-6 weeks regarding faulty keymos (I haven't seen any threads in a while so im hoping they took care of whatever issues they were having).

For 14.5" barrels: FCD 6315KM Keymo Flash Hider. FCD 1215KM Keymo Muzzle Brake. Surefire Closed Tine Flash Hider. HUXWRX/OSS Flash Hider. There are even longer muzzle devices like the SOLGW NOX and Cobalt Kinetics RCB-KM, but those can get a 13.7" barrel past 16" OAL, so they're a bit too long for my taste. 10.

Xeno is small, light, and LH lockup, and my favorite mount system to date though Area 419, Rearden Atlas, and others make excellent micro taper mounts and QDs.Both are excellent mounting systems and both have demonstrated very consistent lockup in terms of repeatable POI shift. If you have the 419 system and are happy with it, go 419. Since the Nomad does not ship with a brake or KeyMo you don't really waste any attachments. Several shooters locally have either the 419 or Dead Air systems and I have ... The Sandman K was developed for very specific uses. Normal Keymo is about 1/2-2/3 rotation. KeyMicro has our P-Series threads on it (smaller for Pistol--Ghost, Wolf, Wolfman). KeyMo has the "HUB" standard (1.375-24 threads that most all use now). The limiting factor will be the length of the muzzle device. A long ol' 3-port break isn't going to fit into a pistol suppressor like the Ghost. The KeyMo and KeyMicro are adapters that are differentiated by the thread socket (rifle vs. pistol suppressors) and the micro muzzle devices are meant to fit in either, while the longer existing ones may not fit in smaller pistol blast chambers like the Ghost handgun suppressor. this. "Keymo is the worst system, except compared to everything else". If you only have like 1 gun you want to put a can on, sure direct thread is fine. If you have a shit ton of guns you move your can between you basically need a QD system and keymo is the best I've found so far. All the rest have other issues that are worse than weight. Don't have firsthand experience with one, but judging by the style, it will be very flashy and not at good of a brake as the keymo brakes. Adapter = the male part with 1.375x24 threads that threads into the can; this adapts the can to mount on your muzzle device (mount) of choice. Ex. Plan A adapter, Plan B adapter, Xeno adapter, etc.In my opinion, putting keymo on a Nomad defeats the whole purpose of the can. KeyMo on a Nomad L looks retarded and adds a lot of length and weight.
