Weapon multi hit zomboid.
Hello, I've been curious how many of you use the weapon multi-hit option in game? I have considered turning it on but when i did in the past it seemed like overkill, Movies and shows I've watched have had multiple zombies hit with certain weapons (machetes, Katana, Etc). But i want to here everyone else's thoughts on the changeable setting!
I don't play with multi hit but I have some suggestions to balance it. Only long and heavy two-handed weapons or blades coupled with a high strength level. 2 zombies max and no multi push. I don’t think knives can multi hit, even with multi hit enabled. I could be wrong about that, though. But you are right, multi hit only really makes sense with a big, two-handed weapon, and even that is questionable. Forgot to enable multi hit before I started. Multi-hit simply makes it so nearly every single melee weapon can hit up to 3 zeds at the same time. Basically every melee weapon except small knives or pens/forks and such. I believe cleavers are the exception among those. The GunFighter mod adds (currently) 146 options that can be used to custom tailor the mod to better suite your game play-style. In Single-Player Mode : ModOptions mod (by star) is used, and not the Sandbox settings. The main reason for this, is ModOptions allows many options to take effect immediately in-game.

A bunch of the weapons don't have multi hit and it's nearly killed me several times. That and finding a boarded up house and most of the weapons are filled with scrap weapon drops instead of the usual good stuff. Not sure if it happens in Vanilla but besides the microwave hammer, you can find zombies impaled by scrap sledge hammers which is OP

Multi-Hits count as multiple hits even when it comes to the endurance cost. Depending on the damage down to both zombies the swing will drain endurance up to the full 2x max weapon endurance cost.
