Sgov is a good option for people who aren’t with vanguard. Vusxx ytd per vanguard site is 1.42 percent while sgov ytd is 1.5. Since sgov can be bought almost anywhere I think it’s a really good option for cash holding. It might be a good non vanguard option but YTD means nothing when you are chasing yield.
