i think patch 1.2 broke this quest. I am having this problem. I have the quest to go to Mzulft to "Search for Synod researchers". I go there, here I find a dead mage to the right of the door. He will not engage in conversation with me, he only rumbles on with one-liners. He also can not be harmed so thus can not be killed to loot his dead body.That is most likely the exit. Almost every cave, ruin or dungeon in Skyrim has one of these. It's used to exit the place without having to backtrack throught the entire place. Well first, the quest id for a mod, the first 2 digits would be unique to you and where you have that mod in the load order. As for the static digits in the quest ID, maybe you should ask the mod creator, they could tell you fairly easily. Or you could open the mod file in the CK yourself and get it.
