I don't get the car sketch image when I turn on the cruise control, instead in that spot it just says 'Cruise Mode'. The screen unit contains a CD changer behind it. The manual on/off switch for the front map lights use a different ground which is right at the light itself and, I think, is made by a screw/bolt in the light assembly that holds it in place to the body. Since both the left and right map light use the same ground ...Check fuses first. If it's not a fuse then it's most likely the blower transistor. It's behind the dash and mounts with two screws into the ducting right after the blower motor. Remove the passenger side under cover panel under the dash and/or the glove box to get to it.
