Gmc sierra radio display not working.
Additionally, 2 or 3 times since I've owned my truck, all of my gauge needles dropped to 0 and stayed there, and my radio shut off. Every time, they problem fixed itself on the next startup or two. They are possibly related, but I can't say for sure as my gauges/radio now function normally even when my instrument cluster lights aren't working.

Volt meter and oil pressure still work, as well as turn indicators. Included with the odometer are my shift positions (P R D 1 2 3) aren't showing up. My truck is a 2000 Silverado.

With the ignition off, open the fuse box and remove the fuse (s) for the infotainment system (use the plastic tweezers provided if available). Now check the fuse (s) and see if the wire inside any of them is broken. Also check that each fuse has the correct rating, according to the information in the owner's manual.
