The KC is what Colt called a MK V action and they made a few Troopers featuring this action before they came out with the King. Colt doesn't list the weight of the 4 inch barreled King Cobra, but I wouldn't think it would weigh a lot more than the 3-inch barreled model. I really like them both. The Ruger happens to be one with a pretty good trigger, my other 101 in 357 has a horrid trigger. The 327 has a trigger that feels lighter than the KC and the contour of the trigger is more comfortable. I can shoot 32 acp,short,long,H&R mag and .327 fed mag. It is identical in size but feels slightly heavier than the KC.
