Chrysler pacifica ac not working.
Hello, The AC stopped working and not blowing cold air. The vehicle is 3yrs 9 months old, so its not under warranty. I checked with dealer for refrigerant refill and he quoted $600 for new freon type. So went to a private AC technician for recharge and he found that there is a leak in the pipe that goes to the third row seating.
With this information, I new I at least had a bad AC clutch coil. I decided to order a remanufactured AC compressor assembly for $199 from RY compressors. You can also replace just the clutch assembly for $110. Along with the light being off, the van also wasn't generating heat and it was a cold day. Even after 20 minutes it was blowing cold air.
