The charting packages are both free to try. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Customization in sierra is also amazing.

I'm in the same dilemma. I'm leaving Tradovate. It's either Quantower vs Sierra Charts. Expect to pay around a 100$ a month give or take with data fees and the orderflow package. This is about the standard across the industry. Sierra charts is unique in that they have everything from the top down in house, and their dev team is impeccable.
