Springfield prodigy vs staccato p.
Jun 24, 2023 · Atlas or Stacatto. Upgrading Springfield Prodigy including magazines. Both Atlas Gunwork's and Stacatto magazines seem to be excellent. Atlas just a tad less expensive, so price is not a factor. Sitting on the fence and overthinking. Both will probably be fine and can't make a bad decision.

The kicker is the Platypus (the way i have it configured) is 800-1000 less than the C2.Oct 12, 2023 · Springfield also offers a 26-rounder. The floor plate is polymer, and the magazine tube is steel. There are three witness holes at 5, 10, and 17 rounds on the flush fit mag and an extra hole at the 20-round mark on the 20-round extended magazine. Springfield Prodigy magazines will function in Staccato P guns and vice versa. To those not familiar, the "Stacc-Port" is an integral porting job that Vulcan Machine Werks has specifically developed for the Staccato line of 2011's. They will do 2019 to current P's, C2's, and C's. It is not available for previous STI made guns. The C and C2 will have the "Mini-Stacc" which has 3 holes, the "Stacc-Port" on the P has 4 holes.

The only thing “special” about the Prodigy is being a 2011 at its price point. For any point that the CS is an improvement, the C2 could be considered more shootable IMO. But it's all negligible. Handgun Hero do t com has a great size comparison feature. I just can't see enough difference to pick one over the to other. So for approx $500 delta, nod may go to C2 IMO. $.02.

I’ve seen a lot of upgraded and customized Springfield DS Prodigy’s out there that look great. I know of the QC issues with the stock Prodigy’s which seem to be fixed by upgrading some of the internals. It seems like you can actually buy a Prodigy, upgrade and customize it for the price of a Staccato P, or maybe even less.
