Serene Reshade Preset. Aug 13, 2023. This is my custom reshade preset that I have been using in my game recently. It took me a while to get it exactly how I wanted it, but I can now confidently say that I think it's perfect. I highly recommend installing Softerhaze's Sunblind lighting mod in conjunction with this reshade preset.
The light mod enhances the overall brightness of your sims, reducing the appearance of shadows. It also gives your sims a subtle glow effect and a lighter color tone. Grab reshade from the official site reshade.me/releases instead of some random youtube or tumblr. Presets should be okay since it's just a text file. 32-bit Sims only supports DLC's made up until Nov 2019 since all support for this version was dropped at that time. 1.I figured out how to get the ReShade files to work for Macs. The Bin file does not exist on a Mac, but the necessary files are available. I made this preset a long time ago, had some major issues back with the Reshade 5.0 update, and after a few tweaks I fixed it! This is perfect for taking photo's of your builds, sims and scenery. A vivid, contrasted, colourful preset that I am very proud of.
Reshade really has quite a robust UI, but it works on plugins, that is, if you want to tweak settings and design your own reshade you'll need to download individual graphic effect plugins for it, load them in, then tweak the settings in game.

for reshade users, you need to grab the gshade shaders for them to look the same as my screenshots; i highly recommend you to use sunblind & better in-game lighting mod (dark saturated light rooms) for better results; do whatever you want as long as you don't claim them as your own; feel free to tag me if you use them! i'd like to see itOpen the reshade setup, select sims-4, press next and it will prompt you to modify or uninstall, select uninstall and you're good to go 🙂. If you've only used GShade with XIV on Mac, you should only have one option to choose from, and will likely be option '1'.
