Before RAV (2021, hybrid made in Japan) I owned Peugeot 2008, so it's understandable why I'll vote for RAV and Toyota. For me choise was Tiguan vs RAV. Almoust year and I'll still would took RAV. Hybrid (or even Eco mode for the gas models) let's you control acceleration better so you don't step on it too fast from a dead stop.
