Starting from a stop at a light or intersection there is a significant shudder at 10-15mph. After that it's gone. Right turn or left, or straight ahead. Light throttle not so noticeable. Up hill or moderate throttle its significant. Everything looks good underneath. Kind of a mystery. This is a low gear only issue. Check fluid level, if air is in line it can shudder, check for any kinks in power steering hoses... Don't be afraid to try something new. 4 posts · Joined 2023. #1 · Nov 5, 2023. I’m working on a 2012 escape limited (v6) with about 115,000 miles. It recently threw a p0203 and p0303 engine code. This is accompanied by a very noticeable and concerning shudder in the car while driving. It definitely sounded as if cyl 3 was not firing.

2 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem. Took vehicle in following a recall notice for controller module. Two months later the check engine light came on. Took vehicle back and it resulted in a coolant leak into the cylinder.When you put it in drive or reverse you can see the whole engine and tranny get sucked down and engaged then the violent shakes happen.
