Duramax acceleration problems.
2016 LML intermittent power loss and recovery. Just did a 3K trip on my 2016 over 3 days. Once each day for about 5 minutes while running at interstate speeds I had a power loss with excessive black smoke. Each time it lasted about 5 minutes and then was back to full power with no indications ever of any problems.
Towing 35' gooseneck with deer stands (not heavy) Cleaning exhaust filter message popped up while driving at 75 mph for about 70 miles. Truck went into limp mode almost immediately after message popped up. Drove 25 mph to dealer 60 miles away. They performed a service regen but could not find another issue.I went out to drive it and at first I had to put my foot all the way to the floor just to get to 1800 rpm. It seemed to get better as I kept driving (would go over 1800 rpm) but it still seemed rather sluggish.
