Otherwise, feel free to use Steel Charge. The extra mod capacity is necessary for some Umbral builds. Adaptation doesn't make Negation Swarm useless.

Well, aside from a few weapons that have innate corrosive or viral damage, you can't do corrosive/viral on the same weapon. But yeah, slash, corrosive, and viral are overall the strongest damage types in the game.
