Up until last week I’ve had 8 defective NC 700 headphones and my warranty is about to expire next month and after much frustration dealing with Bose customer service I spoke to the manager and was offered a full refund. I took this opportunity to upgrade to the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones that were just released. It was $1 cheaper on amazon.Just in case anyone started watching the video but didn't finish it, the creator initially compares Bose QC Ultra, Sony XM5, and Airpod Max. Towards the end, the creator throws in his 700 (for kicks and giggles) to compare and the QC Ultra out performs the 700. Thanks @timbukstu2019 for finding this legit scientific review.

These QuietComfort IIs have proven to be absolute garbage. The ANC in a quiet room sounds like white noise. Extremely common issue with the Soundtouch 300. When Bose had community forums there was a thread of probably hundreds of identical complaints. My ST300 broke earlier this year, power supply died. For someone considering Bose QC earbuds, I say go for the Ultra...they offer everything the QC2s do, plus the immersive mode.
