Subaru crosstrek making noise when off.
Feb 7, 2019 · Hello fellow Crosstrek owners. I own a 2017 Crosstrek that developed a high pitch in cab noise (like having your hearing tested). It would start around 60 miles an hour and stay constant no matter if you sped up or slowed down. Tried various remedies to solve it, but to no avail.

It was less than $100. If you're hearing noises behind the dash when the fan is off, that's the blend door getting stuck trying to change positions. My car does this now. It's annoying. It's on my list to fix. Just not at the top of it. I've had a tab opened on my phone on how to fix the blend door noise for weeks.
