Hi, I'm a long time visitor, first time poster. As I stated, I have a 99 Sportsman 500 with no spark. I rode it, parked it for 10 minutes, and tried to start with no luck. I did some basic troubleshooting and found out that there was no spark, not even a weak or single spark. So far, I've changed the plug, checked plug wire, checked all wiring ...I had no spark at first so after some testing I replaced the stator and then had spark for a little bit. I also had a cracked spark plug cap so just put a new coil and cap on. After doing some tests on the stator when I do an unloaded cranking test I get. yellow/red to black 6.2V. white to black 7.6V.
