Remove pistol grip. Take a piece of paper so that you can use the corner to overlay against the grip tang. Crease along the three edges of the grip tang. Cut along the creases and corner. This will give you a rough template of the in spec grip tang. Trim the template to fit better on the M4 grip tang.

Received the m17 as a Christmas present. I was also given the WC grip module as a present too! I just ordered the bouwer m1811 grip after watching alot of videos on them. Definitely not because of Flannel daddy aka Garand Thumb. So far I've been enjoying the m17 with the WC grip on it.
