Sennheiser E906 !!! NOT TOO SHABBY! I just until today, I have recording my strat though a shure beta 57. THe results were hit and miss, often trying to reset my tone controls on all my gear to somehow reach a more pleasing tone. I mean the shure did an ok job, not much bottom end, but it seems to pick up on and showcase bad frequencies ( 1 k?).Both the e906 and B 906 are very similar in terms of build quality. There’s a little bit more plastic on the Behringer, but overall it’s very close. The most noticeable cutting of cost is on the toggle switch on the B 906.
