We've seen the popularity of having a separate stable mount for other brand live sonar transducers, and that's probably going to happen with Active Target for some users. But, when we put the transducer on a dedicated mount, we'll have to ignore that transducer position indicator icon in the upper right corner of the Active Target page view.
Beamwidth: While all 3 live sonars have relatively similar beamwidth, LiveScope and MEGA Live have a sonar cone that’s 20 degrees wide, while Active Target’s sonar cone is only 18 degrees wide. And while this doesn’t sound like much, it does make it harder to keep your lure inside the sonar cone, so you can see it on your screen.
