6 week ultrasound no heartbeat.
No baby. I waited one week to hear what I knew was bad news. I got to u/s place and the woman said.. "There's the baby! And there is its heartbeat!" I was shocked. I was only 6 weeks. So I was actually almost 3 weeks off. My doctor said it wasn't normal to be that far off and worried me. Today I am 28 weeks carrying a healthy big o'l boy.
Update posted below!I went in on Wednesday for an ultrasound and thought I was 6 weeks 4 days. They said the fetal pole measured 0.32 cm which indicates 6 weeks 0 days and they didn't see any heartbeat activity. She also said I was measuring a week behind. They are giving me one more week on my progesterone shots, but said not to be hopeful because I will probably miscarry.
7 weeks and heart beat is not that reliable. Moat OBs wait till at least 10 wks for the US/fetal doppler for that reason, bcs datimg can be off. If you are "7" weeks but actually earlier, the heartbeat may not be visible/ audible. I would wait a bit and go back at at least 10-12 weeks when things are more concrete. [deleted]
