However the job Im currently on requires a lot of sitting around and Ive been keeping the truck off to avoid running it at idle a lot. If you’re needing that many regens, you may need a new filter or perhaps a sensor. You should go see your truck manufacturer. I should add that 200° is normal temp for your dash to show. There is a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) switch on your dashboard. Switch it on and hold it for about 10 seconds. Your RPM increases at this points and your warning light should go off.
