According to Tesla’s site there are no certified repair shops near my home town of Lubbock, TX. USAA is just as useless at finding a repair shop and has determined it is my choice on repair facilities in Texas. The damage is not minor, but doesn’t seem like the whole vehicle should be written off. However I often hear of Teslas being deemed “totaled” by insurance for far less damage.
