So my loan was taken over by MOHELA from Fed Loan about 2-3 weeks ago. On Fed Loan I was at 114 payments and I was waiting for September to send my final ECF because the last 6 payments only needed Employment Verification. On MOHELA I was not able to access any loan info, it said information should be available 9/3.
However, MOHELA has no updated information on it. I don't have any loan details or count information. I've checked Nelnet and that loan balance is $0. When I logged onto Mohela this morning in the payment information under my account, it shows $0 total amount due, $0 current amount due, etc. In the loan overview area, it shows the same â current principal $0, all zeros except oddly enough interest shows at $264.57 â but everything else, $0. The months in admin forbearance will count. Mohela was forced to put many accounts in forbearance while they get their act together. Currently, they are saying through December. Like many of us here waiting on PSLF, my loans got transferred to MOHELA and I went through consolidation. My payment counts were updated but they were missing payments from April of 2020 to July of 2022.
