It was established in 1969 in the heart of Houston, Texas and currently includes 20 Islamic Centers. Our aim is to serve the Muslims of Houston and, along with other faith based communities, be a beacon of light to illuminate and serve our city.

Together ISGH has helped educate our youngsters through 6 fulltime schools teaching kids from pre-Kindergarten through high school.We also offer weekend education programs and classes for adults.Based on the announcement of the Hajj authorities, the ISGH Fatwa Council had declared that Sunday July 11 is the first day of Thul Hijjah, the day of Arafah will be on Monday July 19 and Eid Al-Adha will be on Tuesday July 20.
