In my opinion, the Predator 3500 is an excellent generator for the price. Okay, it's not perfect, run at a full load the Honda is possibly quieter. The Predator also doesn't have a fuel gauge and its small wheels make it a little difficult to move around. However, in terms of design and performance, this really is an excellent generator.

More octane, (there's a limit) colder plug, less timing and adequate valve clearance. There are limits. You can raise the compression pressure to a point that even race gas will detonate. Aug 20, 2022 · The Ghost engine comes with 22lb valve springs, which will let you hit a high rpm (with governor removed) before it floats in comparison the Predator 212 or 224 comes with a 10.8 lb spring, which limits the engine to 4800 rpm (without governor). The Ghost engine comes with a better cam in comparison, which is to be expected.
