Gmc acadia not starting after getting gas.

Feb 22, 2016 · I have a 2008 Acadia. Whenever I fill the gas tank the car won't start, just keeps cranking. I then floor it and after a few seconds of cranking it starts up. Now there is a hesitation when driving. It pulls out fine but as I accelerate it rumbles a little (like its not getting enough fuel). I hit the gas and it works fine from there. It has also died about a half dozen times while driving. Like the car just dies while slowing to a stop light, sign, or turn. It always seems to happen on decel. Several times this has happened immediately after getting gas. I changed plugs at 105k. I have been in search of a vacuum leak, thinking that might cause it.The replacement cost of a vapor canister purge valve will be somewhere between $130 to $230 on average. Over time it causes issues with the valve. I believe there are 2 valves--- one is on top of the gas tank- the 2nd is close to the engine.
