You don't need to change any trigger parts and you can use the Gen 5 barrel and recoil assembly. I have done this at the range with my 45 MOS slide on a Gen4 19 frame and fired 200 rounds without issue.

Longer sight radius and an extra 50-75 fps for your ammo to expand. The only advantage to doing the 26L the hard way (chopping a 19 frame down) is the rail space forward the trigger. I guess the OEM 26 frame doesn't allow for mounting a light/laser forward the rail. Mine is a P80 940sc and has the rail setup so it's all good.
Yes mine have worked flawlessly in my 48 and 43x. I have two PSA mags. They cycle great in both my 43X's. One doesn't lock the slide back at all (even manually cycling it on an empty mag), the other one only locks back about 30% of the time. It required some minor fitting and polishing of contact points, but runs great now. The front sight that came with it fell off, but I had night sights coming anyway. They are the cheap Chinese sights, and I imagine they figure most will replace them anyway.
