I have a 2005 with rancho quicklift struts which are like a 2.5in level. 315/70r17 on 17x9. minor rubbing on back of wheelwells and fenders. A leveling kit makes sure the truck sits nice and flat from front to back. But it’s more than just a cosmetic upgrade; it also allows you to fit larger tires. The F-150 that Watts uses as an example has a 2.5-inch leveling kit installed up front and is able to run 20-inch wheels and 35-inch tires. A leveling kit has a cost advantage, too.

What size spacers are needed in the front to make it look relatively level. I have stock tires and wheels - not that it matters, but will remain with stock sizes on the wheels and tires. Add a leveling kit, or you can remove the crash bars and use your 35s without any problem.
