Eu4 to vic3.
Having played Europa Universalis 4 for some time, and noticing that the end date for that game (1800...ish) is more or less the starting date for Victoria 3 (also 1800...ish), i was wondering if it would be possible to import a saved game file from EU4 into Vic3, that is to say, to somehow have Vic3 act like some sort of followup to EU4, in whatever state you led the world to be when EU4 ends.
Trouble is - whatever landmarks we have available (mainly rivers, those are worth their weight in gold) are in Vic3 mostly absent or drastically changed. I'm sure EU4 representation of those riverflows was wrong and Vic3 is more correct (for the timeframe), but without them, hoboy. Fun abound. Eyeballing and approximation.Although like HOI4 players are much more creative in screwing each other and that shoots the complexity of the game to a higher level. Finally CK3 is pretty simple both to learn and master. Ck3<HOI4<Vic3<EU4. EU4 is the most complex largely because of the number of DLC it has had, and the free mechanics they add with each DLC.It's definitely a tall nation that rewards slow and steady expansion, very fun and rewarding. As for other tall nations, a nation in North West Germany like Hamburg, Bremen, Brunswick, etc allows you to form Hannover which can be a very powerful tall nation in a very strong node (Lubeck).
