The drive up to Emerald Bay from our hotel was very spectacular and scenic. I recommend arriving early as it was difficult to find parking along Emerald Bay Road. We decided to do the hike to Eagle Lake, which took around an hour or so to complete. The hike was a relatively short 2 mile round trip with less than 500 ft in elevation gain.
