We began pulling the feed for the geese at night, and putting out the age-old cornmeal/sugar & baking soda mixture. The rats are eating the baking soda infused bait, but not dying. The rats are not going into cage traps baited with peanut butter and bacon. (The bait works awesome for raccoons and rats near the above-mentioned debris pile)
