Jan 21, 2014 · Without going into the specifics of your particular example, or floating point rounding, Revit has a fundamental issue with units. Revit stores the basic length unit in feet, regardless of the project's specified unit of measurement. This means that almost all dimensions have significant rounding errors. The CDE is pretty much something like Buzzsaw really, its just another way of saying it in a BIM way; A collaborative environment for sharing work. so really its down to cost and scalability really.. I know you have some collaboration tools on 360, but again cost would dictate the overall use of these things.

What I was thinking was with a line based family the ends to adjust the length ... Idealy IMO Struct would own the structural portion of the wall and Arch would own the finishes. Structural will use Floors for everything (floors can have cut profiles), Arch Roof sits on top of the Struct Floor. Same for floors. My intent would be to have a column heading of RFI, SI, DCVR, or Dr. Checks, and I would like to enter the specific number to one of these catagories that is driving a Revision or Supplimental Information. Mainly an inner office hidden column that we can use to keep track of revisions. Swapnil. Families do not have line styles they use line patterns and subcategories (object styles). Remove the unwanted subcategories / line patterns before loading into the project. If you've already loaded the family you can still remove them through object styles/ line patterns dialogue, however this will act project wide.Shame on me, I didn't know this.
