One of my largest problems is what to put in which chest. Where to put clothes. Where to put food. Where to put wood. Where to put the shearing scissors, where to put buckets if you want the farmhands to milk your cows, Salts in hunter and fishermans chest if you want them to cure the meat/fish etc. etc. etc.

As fun as Medieval Dynasty is, being in early access means it leaves some things unexplained, so here is some important information about getting sleep in the game. The two ways to sleep in Medieval Dynasty are either building a house and getting access to a bed or building a campfire.

You can't interact with anything in the pre-existing villages (other than the NPCs). When you build your own village, you can sleep and cook in your worker's houses, they don't mind. And making a campfire is super cheap (16 sticks). You can just put one down whenever you need a nap. No matter what or where you are at the turn of the season, you are returned to your home.
