Can't speak for 1B4 life, but I know they get way more training and resources than everyone else. RF shred can be useful, I got a pretty good civilian job, but for 1D7 your best bet is Cyber Transport, gets you Sec + cert and networking is a great civilian trade. 1D7 is comm. Retraining is the best option, picking a 1D7 shred will expose you to the IT side of things before you start looking into the 'warfare' side of things. I've seen prior Intel, maintenance, security forces, personnel, services….you name it…everyone has come through.
