This auction is for a reproduction 1897 Winchester Trench Gun heat shield with bayonet lug. The finish on the shield has been partially worn off. The 3 screws that hold the shroud to the barrel are slightly worn but functional. The overall condition is good. I will also include the magazine tube plug and screw needed in order to mount the shroud.The trench gun is a shotgun adapted for military use during World War I. It is an original trench gun and is in really good condition with one caveat - the heat shield was ripped off. It still has the bayonet lug, but the original guy ripped the heat shield off. Hell, it still has 3 of the rivets!
